Job Description

ADGA is hiring a Senior Technical Architect (C++, C#) to join our team that provides development and in-service support of Human Resources (HR) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications, including the Human Resources Management Systems, Military Pay Systems, Military Command Software Centre, Defence Learning Network etc. to our DND client and Canadian Armed Forces members.

Tasks will include, but not limited to:

  • Provide guidance to our team members with appropriate techniques to apply as well as existing coding structures in programming and program coding.
  • Configure application software by establishing performance parameters and customizing details to achieve optimal technical performance.
  • Develop, design, and implement Enterprise-wide Level 0 Windows 7 utilities to control updates to client server desktop applications.
  • Monitor application load and software to achieve optimal technical performance.
  • Provide software solutions to address deficiencies by studying information needs, confer with CAF (Canadian Armed Forces) stakeholders; study systems flow, data usage, and work processes; and.
  • Provide guidance to team members and CAF stakeholders concerning GIS technology.
  • Analyze and maintain the data integrity and security of the Database associated with Monitor MASS and Recruiting.
  • Provide software solutions to address deficiencies by studying information needs, conferring with CAF stakeholders, studying systems flow, data usage and work processes. analyze, design and maintain C# client-server application REO (Reserve Employment Opportunities), Monitor MASS, and MCS Recruiting.
  • Collaborate with Application/SW Architects, Programmer/Software Developers, and Testers on the development of the Recruiting Application.
  • Interface with external data sources associated with REO.
  • Interface with external data sources associated with Recruiting.
  • Load and export application data in a secure manner.
  • Provides industry wide research into state of the tools to communicate with members of the public securely.
  • Support the application help desk staff in resolving issues.
  • Manage workflow of the REO Monitor/MASS application.
  • Provide application guidance to the customer team and provide guidance to all members on impact of potential changes to the application objects and classes of Monitor MASS and Recruiting, in an agile programming environment.

 

Qualifications

  • Must demonstrate at least 10 years of experience as a Technical Architect
  • Strong skills and experience with C# and C++
  • Experience designing and implementing (20,000 users with 2000+ concurrent users) HRMS software applications.
  • Experience writing and supporting Windows Service (C# and Net) level processes that interact with strict pre-set Windows security policy.
  • Experience developing Oracle server-side processes Server-side processes are defined as scripts and stored procedures.

Additional Information

  • Must hold a valid Secret level 2 clearance with PSPC and obtain a Controlled Goods Certificate.
  • Contract to Nov 2026, with potential extension.
  • Hybrid role.
