Software Engineer – Backend (m/f/d) / Fullstack (.NET / C#)

As a Software Engineer, you contribute to the development of a new, strategically important web-based product within the myneva portfolio. You work hands-on on backend and selected fullstack components, delivering reliable, scalable, and maintainable software solutions in a complex product environment.
You collaborate closely with engineers, product management, and UX to implement features with clear ownership. In this role, you apply established engineering practices, contribute to technical quality, and actively support the continuous evolution of the product — including the responsible use of AI-supported development tools.

Your Responsibilities

• You implement backend and selected fullstack components using .NET / C# in alignment with architectural guidelines.
• You design and integrate APIs within a modular or distributed system landscape.
• You contribute to data modeling, persistence strategies, and schema evolution.
• You implement features with attention to performance, reliability, and error handling.
• You take ownership of clearly defined components and services.
• You use AI-assisted development tools and critically validate their outputs.
• You ensure code quality through automated testing, documentation, and code reviews.
• You collaborate closely with engineers, product management, and UX.

• You have solid professional experience in backend or fullstack development using .NET / C#.
• You have hands-on experience with APIs and distributed system architectures.
• You have practical experience with relational databases and data modeling.
• You are able to independently design and implement well-structured backend components.
• You consider performance, reliability, and maintainability in your daily work.
• You value clean code, automated testing, and security.
• You use modern development tools, including AI-supported tools, responsibly.
• You communicate confidently in English (C1); German is a plus.
