Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d) – Backend / Fullstack (.NET / C#)

As a Senior Software Engineer, you contribute to the development of a new, strategically important web-based product within the myneva portfolio. Your focus lies on building robust backend and fullstack solutions while actively shaping how modern software engineering practices are applied in a complex product environment.
You work predominantly hands-on using .NET / C#, implementing scalable and maintainable solutions and collaborating closely with product management, UX, and other engineering disciplines. As an experienced engineer, you also act as a role model in how modern development tools — including AI-supported tools — are used responsibly and effectively to improve productivity and software quality.
In this role, you combine strong technical expertise, product thinking, and a pragmatic approach to innovation to contribute to the long-term success of the platform.

Your Responsibilities

• You design and implement scalable, maintainable backend and fullstack components using .NET / C#.
• You design APIs and integration solutions within a complex software ecosystem.
• You guide decisions around data modeling, persistence, and performance trade-offs.
• You design for reliability, scalability, and observability in distributed systems.
• You actively use AI-assisted development tools and critically evaluate their outputs.
• You collaborate closely with product management, UX, and engineering peers.
• You ensure high code quality through testing, reviews, and standards.
• You contribute to improving engineering practices and system design.

• You have several years of experience in backend or fullstack development using .NET / C#.
• You have strong experience with APIs and distributed system architectures.
• You design systems with performance, reliability, and operability in mind.
• You take ownership of complex or critical components.
• You use AI-supported development tools reflectively and responsibly.
• You value clean code, automated testing, and security.
• You are comfortable working in international, cross-functional teams.
• You communicate confidently in English (C1); German is an advantage.
