Senior Software Engineer - Medical Imaging Visualization, C++

Our application development and visualization team is pioneering advanced software to transform the quantification and interpretation of cardiovascular disease. In this role, you’ll leverage your expertise in C++ and medical visualization to design powerful new features, drive efficiency and performance, and help bring innovative cardiovascular imaging solutions to life.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Ability to learn quickly and to collaborate with other developers, architects, and product owners on a fast-paced, cross-functional, globally distributed team.
• Strong modern C++ programming skills, design principles and patterns: OOP, templates, multi-threading.
• Experience in medical imaging applications (CT / MR), with knowledge of medical imaging standards, specifically DICOM.
• Experience with 3D computer graphics with any one of the following: VTK, OpenInventor, OpenGL, CUDA or any rendering or high-performance computing libraries.
• Experience with cloud (AWS) and interface architecture.
• Working knowledge of source control systems: GitHub or similar and CI/CD experience with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
• Familiarity with Linux OS and proficiency in Python is strongly preferred.

Work Location:

• This role is based out of our office in Boston, MA. For local candidates, we operate in a hybrid model with regular in-office collaboration. Candidates outside of the Boston area are invited to apply as fully-remote employees
