Our people are ambitious, collaborative, and constantly evolving.</p><h3>About the Client</h3><p>The Client builds software that simplifies IT management, improves data performance, accelerates migration and modernization, and strengthens identity and cybersecurity—serving 130,000+ organizations (including 95% of the Fortune 500) from Aliso Viejo HQ with 3,500+ employees in 39 countries.</p><h3>What You’ll Do</h3><ul><li>Collaborate with C++/MFC engineers to integrate modern UI components into a legacy desktop codebase</li><li>Prototype modernization of selected dialogs, panels, and navigation elements</li><li>Apply client-provided palettes, iconography, and design guidelines in WinUI 3 and/or Avalonia</li><li>Define and document reusable patterns for dialog and component modernization</li><li>Validate technical feasibility of modern frameworks (WinUI 3, Avalonia, Qt) within the client’s environment</li><li>Work closely with UX/UI designers to translate style updates into implemented UI changes</li><li>Ensure prototypes maintain application stability and performance while demonstrating new UI capabilities</li></ul><h3>What You Bring</h3><ul><li>5+ years of experience in desktop UI development with WinUI 3, UWP, WPF, Avalonia, or related frameworks</li><li>Strong proficiency with XAML-based UI design and integration into complex applications</li><li>Hands-on experience modernizing legacy desktop applications or migrating components from MFC/Win32</li><li>Ability to design and implement reusable UI components and patterns</li><li>Familiarity with C++/MFC interoperability and willingness to work alongside C++ engineers</li><li>Understanding of performance considerations and best practices in Windows desktop UI development</li><li>Strong English communication skills; able to collaborate in distributed, cross-timezone teams</li></ul><h3>Nice to have</h3><ul><li>Experience with Qt or cross-platform UI frameworks</li><li>Background working on enterprise-scale desktop software with large dialog sets</li><li>Knowledge of C++/C# interop for hybrid solutions</li><li>Familiarity with Git branching and collaborative workflows</li></ul><h3>English level</h3><p>Upper-Intermediate</p><h3>Legal & Hiring Information</h3><ul><li>Exadel is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to inclusion across minority, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, and more</li><li>Reasonable accommodations are available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions</li><li>Please note: this job description is not exhaustive.
