Launched in 2010, the company has rapidly grown into one of the leading online survey platforms in the UK and Europe.</p><h3 class="icon-10">What You’ll Do</h3><ul><li>Engineer, design, and estimate solutions for new feature requests together with the product team</li><li>Decide on the best approach for implementation i.e., front-end or back-end solutions</li><li>Review pull requests from others to ensure high-quality and maintainable solutions</li><li>Coach other team members and elevate their technical skills</li><li>Implement new features and build pixel-perfect, smooth UIs that match designs</li><li>Write unit and integration tests, and make sure other team members do the same</li><li>Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks</li><li>Follow up on new evolutions of technology and take initiative to keep the stack up to date</li></ul><h3 class="icon-9">What You Bring</h3><ul><li>10+ years of professional software development background, including front-end and back-end code</li><li>Extensive knowledge of HTML and CSS, and working with pre-processors for SCSS and JS </li><li>Knowledge of Vue.js, TypeScript, JavaScript</li><li>C# skills</li><li>An eye for UI design </li><li>Competency in reviewing pull requests of colleagues and improving their technical capability</li><li>Solid command of cross-browser compatibility, responsive and accessible solutions, with experience in browser testing and debugging </li><li>Proficiency in common software engineering practices such as OO-development, common design patterns, unit testing, secure coding practices (OWASP), writing clean and neat code, and documentation</li><li>Knowledge of common technologies such as REST web services, OAuth, JSON, SQL…</li><li>Practice in agile software development using SCRUM</li></ul><h3 class="icon-9">Nice to Have</h3><ul><li>Expertise in with VB.Net (for some legacy applications)</li><li>Certified Scrum Master</li><li>Experience having led a sizable feature from design/architecture through to delivery</li></ul><h3 class="icon-5">English level</h3><p>Intermediate</p><h3 class="icon-2">Legal & Hiring Information</h3><ul><li>Exadel is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to inclusion across minority, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, and more</li><li>Reasonable accommodations are available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions</li><li>Please note: this job description is not exhaustive.
