Our Redline Trading Solutions provides ultra-low latency market data and order execution solutions that solve the toughest latency and throughput challenges in today’s equities, options, futures and foreign exchange markets. Our Corvil Analytics technology is used extensively by market participants to understand various aspects of their performance and execution, at both network and business level, in real-time and retrospectively. We are at a tremendously exciting stage with extensive, on-going innovative work and an exciting vision to fulfil .  We need brilliant engineers to help bring this technology into new markets and new deployment models. If you want to work with a team of highly-skilled engineers where learning and innovation are everyday activities; if you want to solve the problems encountered when normalizing and analysing the firehose of data in real time – then Pico is what you are looking for.  Requirements:   <ul><li>BSc/MSc in a relevant Engineering disciple (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Maths, Physics, etc) </li><li>A strong proficiency in C++ development under Linux </li><li>High-performance systems and multi-threaded application development </li><li>IP networking </li><li>Insatiable appetite for problem-solving and learning about technology  </li><li>Team player - excels in a collaborative environment while using initiative to the team’s benefit </li><li>Focus on writing maintainable code </li><li>Automated testing (unit testing, integration testing) </li><li>Excellent customer service attitude, communication skills (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills </li><li>Ability to ask for help, take advice, and incorporate constructive feedback </li><li>Ability to articulate the reasoning behind decisions or trade-offs </li><li>At minimum office attendance expectation is hybrid office/remote work. </li></ul>  Experience/Knowledge of the following is desirable:  <ul><li>Multiple linux-based development environments, including tools such as gdb and valgrind </li><li>Extensive knowledge of computer architectures </li><li>Python programming </li><li>Continuous Integration (Jenkins), including the delivery of CI aligned test automation </li><li>Knowledge of Financial trading concepts (orders, trades, quotes, etc) and protocols (e.g. FIX) </li><li>Packet capture analysis using tools such as Wireshark </li></ul> Working ArrangementsThis is a hybrid-based position with weekly time in the office with the flexibility of working from home.
