• Design, develop, and maintain microservices-heavy backend systems in cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Build and optimize data pipelines for real-time processing using frameworks like Kafka, Flink, or Kinesis.
• Implement containerized and orchestrated systems with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and data teams to plan features, execute projects, and deliver high-quality software.
• Research and integrate emerging technologies to continuously improve platform reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Advocate for best practices in software development, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and testing frameworks.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship within the engineering team to maintain high-quality standards.

• 5+ years of experience building backend systems in a cloud environment.
• Advanced proficiency in C++.
• Experience with real-time data processing and stream frameworks.
• Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and entrepreneurial environment.

• Experience with Go or Rust.
• Strong interest or experience in sports-related applications.
• Previous experience in the finance or betting industry.
• Expertise in pipeline optimization and performance tuning.
