We’re looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer to join our Scanners Infrastructure Team.

In this role, you’ll focus on building and evolving scalable, high-performance services in C#/.NET Core that are critical to our platform’s growth. You will own complex backend components, influence architectural decisions, and ensure our services are both resilient and efficient at scale.

While this position is primarily backend-focused, from time to time you’ll collaborate with the team on areas that touch infrastructure to ensure your services perform well in production.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in C#/.NET Core
• Take ownership of service performance and reliability, including identifying and resolving complex bottlenecks
• Contribute to system design and architectural discussions to shape the future of our platform
• Collaborate with teammates on production issues, monitoring and alerting improvements, and long-term scalability strategies
• Occasionally assist with DevOps tasks, such as tweaking the scheduler
• Mentor peers and contribute to best practices in backend engineering

• 5+ years of professional experience with C#/.NET Core in production environments
• Strong background in microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Proven ability to optimize performance and design for scalability
• Familiarity with Kubernetes (experience with KEDA a plus)
• Experience with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, GraphDBs) and messaging systems (Kafka)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containers, and general cloud environments
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide technical leadership within a team
