<p> </p><p><strong>Senior Backend Developer</strong></p><p> </p><p><strong>Important Information</strong></p><p><strong>Location: Singapore</strong></p><p> </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Design, develop, and enhance backend services supporting payment processing and transaction switching platforms.</li><li>Develop and maintain integrations with international payment schemes including:</li><ul><li>Visa</li><li>Mastercard</li><li>American Express</li><li>UPI</li></ul><li>Support payment platform migration initiatives including implementation of <strong>Base24-eps on Linux RHEL / Cloud environments</strong>.</li><li>Analyse technical requirements and contribute to solution design, architecture discussions, and technical documentation.</li><li>Develop high-performance backend components for large-scale transaction processing environments.</li><li>Perform system optimization, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for payment switching platforms.</li><li>Work closely with QA teams, frontend teams, business stakeholders, banks, vendors, and payment partners.</li><li>Ensure solutions comply with payment security requirements including:</li><ul><li>PCI-DSS standards</li><li>Card scheme requirements</li><li>Secure transaction processing practices</li></ul><li>Document system architecture, integration flows, and technical specifications.</li></ul><p><strong>Mandatory Skills & Elaboration</strong></p><p>Backend development experience with strong hands-on programming using C++ for enterprise-grade applications and transaction processing systems</p><p>Strong experience developing backend applications running on Linux environments, preferably RHEL</p><p>Experience in payment systems including payment gateways, transaction processing, card payments, or switching platforms</p><p>Experience integrating with international payment schemes such as Visa, Mastercard, Amex, UPI or similar payment networks</p><p>Hands-on experience with Linux shell scripting, preferably Korn Shell scripting</p><p>Experience working with PostgreSQL or relational databases in backend applications</p><p>Experience with AWS Cloud environments supporting backend/payment applications</p><p>Experience with IBM MQ middleware for enterprise messaging/integration</p><p>Experience with Base24-eps payment switching platform</p><p>Experience with payment security standards including PCI-DSS and secure transaction processing practices</p><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong>About Encora</strong></p><p>Encora is a global company that offers Software and Digital Engineering solutions.
