We're looking for an experienced Software Engineering Manager to join our Shared Services Team. Reporting to the Director of Engineering , you'll be responsible for:
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of 5-10 engineers, providing mentorship, technical guidance, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Development Oversight: Drive the end-to-end development of security solutions, focusing on the Linux platforms, utilizing C++ automation tools.
- Project Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, security experts, DevOps) to ensure delivery of high-quality features and products. Own project timelines and resource planning.
- Automation & Testing: Lead the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks to ensure comprehensive test coverage, high-quality product releases, and reduce manual testing efforts.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure rigorous code reviews, adhere to coding standards, and drive continuous improvement in product quality and team performance.
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- 5+ years in a leadership role, managing a team of engineers and overseeing the delivery of complex software products along with extensive software development experience with a background in C++ and system-level programming on Linux platforms.
- Expertise in automation frameworks and testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing.
- Experience with networking protocols and familiarity with network security products.
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science or information technology, is required.
- Preference given to candidates with prior experience leading teams in the Digital Experience Monitoring space.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and proficiency in using project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence.
