This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Lender - Principal Software Engineer (React/C#/AWS) in the United States.

In this role, you will take ownership of the architecture, design, and implementation of large-scale, secure, and high-performance software systems. You will work across full-stack web applications, microservices, and data pipelines, translating complex product requirements into scalable technical solutions. This position involves leading architectural decisions, guiding development teams, and ensuring consistency and quality across multiple projects. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and technology leadership, providing expertise on micro-frontends, real-time data streaming, and cloud-based solutions. The role is ideal for experienced engineers who enjoy problem-solving, mentoring, and working in a fast-paced, enterprise-scale environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead the design and architecture of secure, high-volume web applications, microservices, and data pipelines.
  • Convert product requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with development teams to determine architectural direction and best practices.
  • Understand and document existing systems, acting as a go-to source for architectural knowledge.
  • Mentor technical staff and provide guidance on cloud architectures, microservices, and real-time data streaming.
  • Advocate for security, performance, and observability in all software systems.
  • Maintain architectural diagrams, system documentation, and promote consistent engineering standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required; advanced degrees are a plus.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing enterprise-level web applications.
  • Expert proficiency in C#, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript; full-stack experience is a plus.
  • Strong experience with AWS services, including Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, SNS/SQS, S3, and API Gateway.
  • Experience designing and implementing secure systems and financial-data applications.
  • Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases, event-driven architectures, and real-time data streaming.
  • Familiarity with Test-Driven Development, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes/ECS/EKS).
  • Excellent communication skills, including architectural diagramming and cross-team collaboration.
  • Preferred: cloud architecture certifications, agile experience, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and observability tools (CloudWatch, Kibana).
