Position Overview
We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer with a focus on C++ development to support ongoing product development efforts. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to grow within a dynamic engineering environment.
Hands-on experience with C++ in real-world projects (academic or professional) is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance software systems based on defined requirements
- Contribute to the design and development of new software solutions
- Support development of analytics, visualization, and data processing tools
- Integrate software across diverse systems and hardware platforms
- Test and debug software components, documenting results and resolving issues
- Participate in system design discussions, including software/hardware trade-offs and reuse of existing solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0–2 years of experience (internships or academic projects considered)
- Experience with C++ (strongly preferred); familiarity with Java or other object-oriented languages is a plus
- Exposure to software development through coursework, internships, or professional experience
- Interest in working on government, aerospace, or defense-related projects is a plus
$60,000 - $70,000 a year
