Junior C++ Audio Plugin Developer

Are you passionate about music technology and coding? Future Audio Workshop, the creators of the SubLab synth, is looking for a Junior Developer to join our team. We’re a small group of developers and musicians dedicated to creating innovative audio plugins that inspire artists worldwide.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and Style UI Components: Build new interface components and style existing ones in our codebase to match the designs of new products.

• Work with Figma Designs: Translate Figma designs into functional, visually accurate UI elements within our plugins.

• Apply UX Principles: Ensure that the user interfaces are intuitive and provide a seamless experience for our users.

• Innovate on Interface Design: Contribute to creating cutting-edge interfaces that are not only functional but also set industry trends.

• Collaborate Closely: Work with our team to implement features that align with our creative vision.

• Focus on Results: Prioritize delivering high-quality work over adhering to rigid processes—less time in meetings, more time creating.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience with C++ and JUCE: You’ve developed your own VST plugin (nothing too evolved but would be great if it contained some self developed interface components) and have it available on GitHub.

• Familiarity with Figma and UX Principles: Comfortable interpreting design specs and implementing them in code.

• Pragmatic Approach: Able to choose the most effective solution from multiple options, focusing on functionality and practicality.

• Team Player: Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving team where collaboration is key.

• Self-Motivated: Able to take initiative and work independently when needed.
