Core Engineer, C++

The Role

Our stack cuts across many technologies (front-end, backend, edge-computing, machine

learning), and you will be responsible for a large part of our edge-computing stack powering

Coram Point (https://www.coram.ai/nvr). This involves :

• Building edge applications processing vision data and communication layers for the compute-constrained edge devices.

• Deploying machine learning models to production.

• Optimising the platform runtime for maximum performance. This is largely C++ code with parts of the pipeline running on GPU.

• Building observability and telemetry.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science

• 3-8 years of experience in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented

• Strong Programming in C++ and strong understanding of Linux

• Knowledge of any other development language, including Java, Python, and Shell scripts (a plus)

• It would be great if you also have experience with one or more

  • Edge/IoT computing (we have a fleet of deployed edge computers).

  • Infrastructure management (we use Salt).

  • Monitoring (we use Grafana).

  • Video processing & streaming (we use Gstreamer).

  • Experience interfacing ML models (we use PyTorch).
