You will be the key person within Swabian Instruments’ growing application team. You will take over project responsibility for the technical implementations and roadmaps, as well as being a major contributor to our codebase. You lead the C# team members through your example of enthusiasm and constant striving for improvement and new, creative ideas.
Functional lead of the C# team of 3-5 developers and support for the team members whenever they need it
Develop coding guidelines with a focus on high code quality as well as providing robust, maintainable and extendable code
Ensure a frequent exchange with physicists and C++ team / library developers
Design, implement, maintain and improve the C# front ends
Provide an excellent user experience for our high-end measurement devices
Project management skills
Experience in managing onsite / remote teams
A Bachelors or Masters degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics
At least 10 years of experience with C#, WPF, GUI and API design
Experience with Reactive UI, C++ and / or measurement instrumentation is a plus
Confident and effective communication in English, German is an advantage
Ability to challenge yourself and your colleagues in the search for the best solution
Willigness to work most of the time in our office on site in Stuttgart, mobile working by prior arrangement
We aim for the latest tech stack: Visual Studio 2022 or Jetbrains Rider (free choice of use), .NET8, WPF, MVVM, Syncfusion, Reactive UI, xUnit…and we’re considering to use Avalonia
